I have been involved with the local music scene in one way or another for over 10 years now. In that time I have organised events, promoted bands and shows, played in bands ranging over many genres. More recently I have become involved with a group called MACY who work with young people in the arts, through this I have started teaching (and learning) in several new areas.
It goes without saying that after being in a band for several years you either have spent a lot of money on gear or you have a few broken instruments around the place. This is what inspired me to learn how to fix and maintain equipment to a basic level and I will be sharing my knowledge with you.
I am currently a chemistry student from the northwest of England. Music is a hobby I am very much passionate about and spend a lot of my free time watching bands and playing shows so with a bit of luck I should be able to review some of the excellent bands I get to see.
